Artist's Description

I captured this American bald eagle soaring above the Fox River in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin in the middle of March. The eagles tend to frequent this area in the winter months because its one of the places where the river doesn't completely freeze, therefore, allowing them to continuously feed on the fish during the harsh winter months.
